The concept

The course is the product.
Protection is the platform.

MedBank is a video-course marketplace for the health sciences, built on one idea: a lecturer can only sell their work if they trust it will stay theirs.

Why it exists.

In medicine or dentistry, pharmacy, nursing or physical therapy, the best explanation of a subject often belongs to one particular lecturer: someone who spent years understanding anatomy or pharmacology, and months recording it.

But the ways courses are sold today, through Drive links, the batch's Telegram group and USB sticks, leak the course from day one. So lecturers either stop recording, or sell knowing half the year will watch for free.

MedBank fixes this at the root: the course never leaves the app, and every copy that plays carries its viewer's name. Then selling makes sense again, prices stay fair, and good teaching keeps getting recorded.

The model

Two sides, MedBank in between.

The lecturer

Records, builds the course, and decides whether to sell it whole or by chapter.

MedBank

Reviews, protects and delivers. Access is decided on the server.

The student

Buys a code, watches on one phone, with their name on every lesson.

Three promises

What MedBank promises each side.

To lecturers

Your work stays yours.

Five layers of protection, and every copy tied to its viewer. Sell with peace of mind.

To students

One place to study.

Reviewed courses organised into chapters and lessons, progress saved, and a question bank to test yourself. No digging through groups.

To the field

Health education that lasts.

When lecturers are paid fairly, they record more, and better. The batches that follow are the ones who win.

To be clear

What MedBank isn't.

✕

Not a file host

No download links, no video files sent around. The course plays inside the app, only.

✕

Not a YouTube channel

Students never see where a video is hosted. No share button, no suggested videos.

✕

Not the batch group chat

Every student has an account, one phone, and access decided on the server.

✕

Not a promise of the impossible

Someone films the screen with another camera? They can. Their name and ID will be in the video.

Why "MedBank"?

We started as a question bank for medical students, and the name stayed with us. Today it's a bank for health-science teaching: kept safe, and signed by the person who made it.
